Principle of catering oil-water separator
The catering oil-water separator is used to remove floatable oil and partially dispersed oil from oily wastewater by natural float separation under the action of gravity, with the help of the difference in oil-water density. Through clever design of the internal structure of the catering oil-water separator, based on the shallow pool sedimentation theory, the principle of opposite flow separation and the dialectical relationship between turbulent and laminar flow are applied. During the process of sewage flowing through the catering oil-water separator, the flow velocity decreases, the water flows downward, and the oil droplets float upward. Then, multi-stage treatment and separation devices are used, and inclined plate oil separation technology and special liquid level automatic control technology are used to separate the oil from the wastewater.

1. There is a debris basket inside to separate solid and liquid, and the debris basket needs to be cleaned regularly;
2. There is an air flotation device inside, which generates a large number of bubbles. Oil adheres to the surface of the bubbles and floats to the water surface, making oil-water separation more complete and improving oil removal rate;
3. The oil gathering area is equipped with heating devices, which are activated at low temperatures to prevent the floating oil from solidifying at low temperatures;
4. Equipped with a pumping system, when the floating oil reaches a certain position, the pumping system is activated to pump the floating oil into the oil collection tank;
5. The position of the pumping bucket can be adjusted according to the on-site situation, and the pumping head is 6-8 meters.
6. The oil separator is designed based on the principle of the different specific gravity of water and oil. Generally, oil floats on the surface of water, which is conducive to manual cleaning. For example, if there is no one cleaning for many days, there is an oil guide hole at the back of the oil separator, which can guide the oil into the manhole by itself. 1. Choose one with a larger displacement
To ensure the fuel supply of the entire engine system, the installed oil-water separator model must have a larger displacement than the original vehicle.
2. Pay attention to timely drainage
Don't think that once you install it, you can rest assured. There is a transparent plastic water cup under the oil-water separator. When using the oil-water separator, be sure to drain the water in a timely manner. If there is too much water, the oil-water separator will not be able to separate the oil and water. Some advanced foreign manufacturers already have automatic drainage function. The filter cup under the oil-water separator is equipped with a water level sensor. When the water level reaches a certain value, it will prompt that there is water on the computer display screen on the dashboard, and the oil-water separator must be drained. The drainage operation is also very convenient. After parking, pull the handbrake, turn off the engine, turn the ignition key to the driving position, and press the switch on the dashboard to complete the drainage in about 18 seconds.
3. The northern region selects those with heating function
In addition, cold weather can also easily cause damage to the water under the water cup due to freezing, especially in northern regions. Many users wear thick cotton clothes on the oil-water separator to prevent it from freezing. However, for safety reasons, it is still recommended to choose an oil-water separator with electric heating function.

1. Regularly check whether the electrical control part of the equipment is working properly and whether the insulation performance is normal;
2. Thoroughly clean the fuel separation tank at least once a month, and after cleaning, the oil-water separator must be filled with clean water;
3. Regularly clean the filter with hot water, discard any debris from the inlet filter, and thoroughly clean it;
4. If the equipment is equipped with an automatic grille machine (commonly seen in oil separators), it is necessary to check whether there are any debris affecting the operation of the automatic grille machine before operation;
5. The power should be turned off every day, and the oil and slag separation tanks should be cleaned to maintain smooth and unobstructed water flow;
6. In places where a large amount of animal oil wastewater is discharged, the drainage valve should be opened to drain a portion of the water and clean the waste oil in the tank with a spoon;
7. Regularly check whether the aeration pipeline inside the box is evenly aerated. If the aeration is uneven, check whether the aeration pipe is leaking or blocked;
8. Regularly clean the mud and residue at the bottom of the box that cannot be completely drained;
9. Thoroughly flush the interior of the equipment every two weeks, and if the processing volume is large, the frequency can be more frequent;
10. Regularly contact the manufacturer for after-sales inspection of equipment to maintain its performance;
11. Regularly check whether the aeration pipeline inside the box is evenly aerated. If the aeration is uneven, check whether the aeration pipe is leaking or blocked;
12. Add cleaning agent to the oil-water separator.
